V.I. Forecast: Cool, Breezy, Isolated Shower

The remnants of a cold front will continue to slowly drift southward while dissipating near the local area. It will continue to produce a light to locally moderate east to northeasterly wind flow across the islands. The wind flow will push patches of low level moisture with clouds and one or two isolated showers across portions of the region this morning. St. Croix will observe mostly sunny skies. High temperatures this afternoon will reach into the mid to upper 80s across the coastal areas.

Across the regional waters, winds will average 15 knots (17 miles per hour) and seas to five feet. A northeasterly swell will also move across the Atlantic Waters through Saturday.

There is a moderate risk of rip currents across the north and east-facing beaches.
