An area of high pressure in the sub-tropical central Atlantic will maintain trade winds over the local area today. A few light showers may be noted from time to time. Daytime highs will reach the mid to upper 80’s.
Seas are slowly subsiding and are now averaging six feet across the local waters. Small craft operators are urged to exercise caution both across the Atlantic waters, and the waters just north of St. Thomas and St. John where winds can reach 20 knots (23 miles per hour).
There is a moderate risk of rip currents across most beaches.
