Veronica W. Frorup Dies at 80

Veronica W. Frorup Veronica W. Frorup, also known as "Vero," of Estate Anna’s Hope died on Oct. 5. She was 80 years old.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna-Maria Thomas Petersen; father, Ambrias Williams; grandfather, Ezekiel Thomas; and uncle, Vincent Harris
She is survived by her husband, Christian L. Frorup Sr.; son, Christian L. Frorup Jr.; grandchildren: Jalen M. Frorup and Dilani E. Frorup; daughter-in-law: Christiana C. Williams-Frorup; sisters: Dorene Pemberton, Winnifred Encarnacion, Mercedes Samuel and Josephine Springer; brothers: Raymond Petersen Sr., Lawrence Petersen Sr. and Claudius Petersen; and nieces: Lucinda Pemberton, Myrna Koyi, Patricia Pierre, Arlene Rice, Annette Gonzales, Merissa Encarnacion, Melanesia Encarnacion, Elizabeth Thurland, Ann Marie Encarnacion, Melissa Lake, Kimberly Samuel, Nicole Samuel, J’Nelle Easley and Yolanda Fitzpatrick.
She is also survived by nephews: Carl Andrews, Clifford Andrews, Michelangelo Encarnacion, Marvin Samuel, Gregory "Greg" Samuel, Raymond Petersen Jr., Lawrence Petersen Jr., Allan Petersen, Reginald Petersen and Troy Springer; aunt, Emelda Thomas; sisters-in-law: Lillia Frorup, Corliss Frorup, Shirley Christian, Eleanor Frorup, Gwendolyn Frorup, Alexandrine Petersen and Laurel Petersen; brothers-in-law: Norman Frorup Sr., Angel Encarnacion and Henry Springer; special friends: Calvin and Inez Lang, Mercedes McGregor, Carmen Anderson, Violet Damidaux, Ann Andrews, Maurice and Shirleen Illidge; cousins: Theophilus Harris and Joan Paulus; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
