Ishmale Banista Henry Dies at 68

Ishmale Banista Henry

Ishmale Banista Henry, also known as ‘’Henry,” “Tussie” or “Fatboy,’’ of Buckley’s Village, Antigua, last resided on St. Croix, U.S.V.I. He was 68 years old. He was the son of the late Cecil and Ernestine Henry.

He was preceded in death by his brothers: Alvin and Ian Henry; and sisters: Josephine Barthley, Yvonne, Orianna and Evelyn Henry.

He leaves to mourn, his sister, Angela Henry, on St. Marten and his adopted sister, Winifred Jonas, on St. Croix. He was the uncle of Franklyn Francis and family of Buckley’s Village, Patria, Jeyson, Patrice, Natasha and family, all of Buckley’s Village, and Keithroy Martin and family in England. Kesreen Barthley Thomas and family of St. Phillips. Jerrylyn and Junie Barthley and family of St. Phillips. Jean-Marie Sandy Bathley-Lewis and family of Buckleys. Andy, Colin and Edison Barthley Martin and family of Buckley’s in the USA; Sandra, Gwendolyn and Beverly Martin and family of Buckley’s, Lanvol Watts and family.

Ishmale Henry was a very well-known person with many friends and relatives too numerous to mention in Antigua, St. Croix, St. Thomas and U.S.A.

There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 25, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
