St. Croix Man Robbed at Dump Site

A 38-year-old man told police he was robbed at gunpoint Saturday at the Estate Concordia dump site.

According to the V.I. Police Department, the incident took place at 9:15 p.m. Two suspects approached the victim and demanded the keys to his grey Toyota pickup, police said. The two suspects, dressed in all black, approached him from behind.

One suspect pointed a gun at the victim and demanded the keys to his car. They both then got into the truck and drove away, police said. The victim was not harmed and no other property was taken.

The Police Department has issued an all-points bulletin for the vehicle, which is described as a grey 2009 Toyota Tacoma.

The case is being followed up by detectives of the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Anyone seeing this vehicle should immediately call 911 or detectives at 1-340-712-6077 or 1-340-712-6037, or the anonymous tip service, Crime Stoppers USVI, at 1-800-222-TIPS.
