The following holiday programs and concerts are scheduled in the St. Thomas-St. John School District:
Wednesday, Dec. 12
The Music Department Concert will take place at the Bertha C. Boschulte Middle School at 7 p.m. The school’s concert band, recorder class and The Steel Owls will perform. Principal Hassell-Habtes invites all to celebrate the students’ gifts and talents.
Thursday, Dec. 13
Addelita Cancryn Junior High School announces that the music department will present "Christmas in the Garden" beginning at 6 p.m. in the Emancipation Garden.
Friday, Dec. 14
Leonard Dober Elementary School announces the school’s Christmas program will begin at 9 a.m. in the school’s courtyard.
Saturday, Dec. 15
Ivanna Eudora Kean High School invites parents, guardians and other community members to a “Breakfast with Santa” beginning at 8 a.m. at the school. Yes, Santa will be there. There’s an opportunity for photo taking with Santa. Pancakes, juice and bacon are included on the menu, perhaps for a small fee. IEKHS is partnering with Rotary East to raise funds for the school.
Tuesday, Dec. 18
Ivanna Eudora Kean High School announces that the Christmas Concert is scheduled during the school day.
Lockhart Elementary School announces that the school’s Christmas Concert will begin at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria.
