Jahnni Bentley Thompson Dies at 23

Jahnni Bentley Thompson

Jahnni Bentley Thompson died at the age of 23 on Jan. 21.

Jahnni is survived by his mother, Jaunna Hart; father, Kareem Thompson; brothers, Austin Francis, Tyereeq Perez, Kaiden Thompson, Kamryn Thompson and Te’Andre Thompson; sisters: Unikah Colbourne, Chanique Thompson, Ky’Onique Thompson, Malaia Thompson and Na’Kela Thompson; grandmothers: Jacinth Hart and Jackie Simeon; adopted grandmother, Stephony Francis; great-grandmother, Jean Wiltshire; aunts: Kashanta Hart, Mavish Hart, Marcella Hart, Pamela Thomas, Jacqueline Brown, Kareema Thompson, Jasmine Simeon Pratt, Sandra Daniel, Ollie Simeon, Laurel Joseph, Sonia Francis, Joyce Potter and Lorraine Francis-Edwards; and adopted aunt, Christina Miller.

He is also survived by uncles: Vaughn Hart, Julian Hart, Whycliffe Hart, Kimba George, Richard O’Neal, Carlos O’Neal, Louis Simeon Jr., Kamba Joseph and Bernard Thomas; and cousins: Rayemundo Boynes, Imyah Shortte, Aesha Browne, Elise and Ethan Browne, Na’Sanique Industrious, Taraj Hart, Takayla Hart, Camiliah Simon, Tarique Springette, Kevin Thomas, Jalila Thomas, Le’Kwan Thompson, Sh’reen and Haneen Arri, Jya and Jy’I Ottley, Le’Tavia Williams, Kyra Kean Payne and family,

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17. The viewing will be held from 9-10 a.m. at Nisky Moravian Church, with services to follow immediately at 10 a.m. Interment will be at the Eastern Cemetery, Smith Bay.

Arrangements are under the care of Turnbull’s Funeral Home and Crematory Services.
