Ayala was transported from the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport and placed officially under arrest for the murders of Stacie Schjang and Arnold Jarvis, who were killed on Jan. 27, 2022, and Feb. 4, 2022, the police report stated.

Ayala was charged with first-degree murder, unauthorized possession of a firearm during a crime of violence, attempted murder, assault, unauthorized possession of ammunition, and reckless endangerment, the report stated.

His bail was set at $1 million as per the Superior Court. He was unable to post bond and was transported to the John Bell Adult Correctional Facility, where he awaits his advice of rights hearing, which is scheduled for Monday, the police said.

The department will extradite his cohort after he is adjudicated in Georgia on criminal charges committed in Georgia, the report stated.
