WAPA Line Department Crews Are Restoring Electrical Service to Customers in Many St. Croix Areas.

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s (WAPA) line department crews are continuing efforts to restore electrical service to all customers on St. Croix. Several isolated outages resulted from the overnight inclement weather.

Crews are now addressing outages in the following areas: Anna’s Hope, Shoys, Hill Street, Cotton Grove, Hard Labor, Hope and Carton, North Slob and Canaan.

Earlier this afternoon, generation issues at the Estate Richmond Power Plant resulted in an outage on Feeders 2A, 3A, 6A, 9B and 10 A. The feeders are restored.
