WAPA Line Department Crews Continue to Address Isolated Electrical Service Interruptions in More Areas.

The Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority’s line Department crews are addressing isolated electrical service interruptions across the island.

The areas include Mount Victory, Church, Hill and Queen Streets, Mount Welcome, Eliza’s Retreat, Mount Pleasant (west), Anna’s Hope, Shoys, Boetzberg, Coakley Bay, Tide Village, Cotton Grove, Hard Labor, Mount Welcome, Oxford, Carlton, Solitude, Union Mount Washington (east), Hope & Carton, Seven Hills and North Slob.

The outages stem from overnight inclement weather which impacted the electric grid.
