The Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture (Agriculture) has announced the opening of the St. Croix Market at the Rudolph Shulterbrandt Agricultural Complex in Estate Lower Love from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Christmas Eve, Thursday, Dec. 24.

“It’s a wonderful opportunity to get in some last-minute holiday shopping!” said Commissioner of Agriculture Positive T. A. Nelson. The Virgin Islands Farmers Markets offer a wide range of local items to make a holiday meal special, including fresh produce; value-added items such as jams/jellies, oils, sauces and spices; homemade bread and pastries; local cuisine and breakfast favorites; arts and crafts; jewelry; and apparel.

All visitors, employees, and staff of the markets are required to follow all locally mandated COVID-19 guidelines. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
