Ruth Melonie Tull, also known as “Ms. Ruth,” of Estate Whim died on March 30. She was 96 years old.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Ann Fleming; father, Frank Fleming; grandparents: John and Mariah Fleming; son, Jimmy; and sister, Violet Knight.
She is survived by her sons: Clifford Boynes Sr. and Alvin Brown; stepdaughter, Julia Tull-Carter; grandchildren: Clifford Boynes Jr., Kentrel Boynes, Nyshrel, Aelisha Boynes and Clint Brown; daughter-in-law, Rhona Boynes; niece, Teresita A. Fleming; nephews: Daniel Gumbs and Charles Knight; great nieces: Tamara King, H. Nathalie Hodge and Stacey Hodge; great nephews: Troy McFarlane and Melvin Hodge; special friends: Elwign and Icylma Fraser, Cecil James, Thomas, Shameka Andres, Jose Morales, Omara Vasquez, Glendalyn Santiago, Maxine A. Jeorges, the Solomon family and the Frederiksted Baptist Church family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. and the funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, at Frederiksted Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
