Michelle Natalie Brignoni Bascombe died on March 19. She was 63 years old.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Merle Roberts; father, Bienvenido Brignoni; sister, Sylvia James; brother, Andreas Miller; nephew, Derek Wickham; mother-in-law, Ada Barnes Somme; and brother-in-law, Ricky Bascombe.
She is survived by her husband, Randall Lewelling Bascombe; daughters: Soyoni Quashie, Sahleem Bascombe, Shanique Bascombe and Danisia Willock (adopted); sons: Kareme Holst and Korian Bascombe; grandchildren: Symone Smith, Victor “Poppy” Quashie, Elijah Quashie, Noami Johnson and Arissa Jn-Marie; great-grandson, Honor Ezekiel Smith; sisters: Collette Davis, Berisa Miller, Jerraine Miller, Shermaine Miller, Ivena ”Ivy” Williams and Diana Mothersell; and brothers: Gary Nicholas, Sean Miller, Calvin Miller, Oniel “Nello” Miller and Robert Miller.
She is also survived by nieces: Kafi Miller, Kimani James, Sosoni James, Renee Coates, Kristin Coates, Kaleema DeLande, Carla DeLande, Arlene DeLande, Berisha DeLande, Stephon DeLande, Wendy Wynter, Merle Wynter, Andrea Wynter, Rennica Wickham, Renisha Wickham, Orniqua Edney, Gary Nicholas Jr., Genique Nicholas, Shaniqua Miller and Shenea Miller; and nephews: Sherwin James, Horace Coates Jr., Carlisle DeLande, Carl DeLande, Noel Wynter, Joel Wynter, Orson Edney, Gary Nicholas Jr., Gareem Nicholas, Sean Miller Jr., Nalik Miller and Andreas Miller Jr.
Other survivors include stepmother, Victoria Brignoni; sisters-in-law: June Rollins, Cheryl Freeman and Sharlene Turnbull; brothers-in-law: Elroy Bascombe, Cylde Bascombe, Meredith Bascombe and Glenn Bascombe; aunts: Alexandria Roberts, Eurita Donovan, Myrtle Roberts, Joyanne Aarndel and Elisa Miller; uncle: Elroy “Double” Roberts; special friends: Eva Agnes Huggins Nelly, Mia, Lisa Poree, Georgette Ayileka, Sandra Thompson, the John family and Melvina Rodgers; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service on Friday, April 12, at Church of God Prophecy. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
