Victorine Phillip Boston Dies at 80

Victorine Phillip Boston

Victorine Phillip Boston, also known as “Dulcie,” of Estate Hannah’s Rest died on Wednesday, March 20. She was 80 years old.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Delores Donaldston and Leonard Phillip; great-grandchild, Maliah Campbell; brothers: Ferdinand Phillip and Dennis Joseph; nephew, Claude Francis; brother-in-law, Morris Illidge; and sister-in-law, Joyce Boston.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Boston; daughters: Claudette Willock and Geraldine Willock; sons: Freeston Lewis, Anthony Lewis, Kenmore Boston, Junior Boston and Anselmo Boston; grandchildren: Sheniqua Johnson, Kawanna King, Iyabo Campbell, Tio Southwell, Aisha Smith, Jalanie Daniels, Kareem, Kamall, Leeshorne, Latefa and Delique Lewis, Ashon and Tatiana Lewis, Kamali and Abassi Boston, Akebo, Jahsai and Nathanyiel Boston; and great-grandchildren: James, Dominique and Destiny Johnson, Kayan Matoo, Julius and Kiara King, Kamilah, Kamal, Sheniqua and Zion Southwell, Nikela and Ney’kye Aska, Nia George, Jasiah and Jasirie Daniels, Kanaan, Ajahnique and Sha’Nyla Lewis, Jahsai and Jahnia Lewis.

She is also survived by great-great grandchildren too numerous to mention; sisters: Kathleen Francis, Gennifer Gotha and Valerie Joseph; brothers: Rolston Phillip and Leroy Phillip; nieces: Rosemarie, Patricia and Sharon Francis, Cheryl Phillip, Anika Gotha, Neisa Joseph and Renee Boston; nephews: Franklyn, Jason and Aubrey Phillip, Omari Gotha, Rodrick Joseph, Rondoulph Boston, Kelvin and Kenrick Illidge; daughters-in-law: Lois Lewis, Wendy Lewis, Janice Dunbar and Natishia Boston; brothers-in-law: Wilmoth Francis and Glenroy Gotha; sisters-in-law: Hyacinth Phillip, Sherleen Illidge and Nina Boston;

Other survivors include special friends: Ruthlyn Gaines, Romelita Smith and family, Thyra Thompson, the Shaw family, Rita, Mavis, Gene, Gwen, Josephine, Roslyn, Ms. Paris and family, Veronica “Cutie” Jeffrey, Mr. and Mrs. Williams, the Willock family (George, Ruthlyn, Leroy, Pauline, Sam and Dianne), Elizabeth Athill, Rico Arrindele and family, Ricardo “Duppie” Carnett and family, Camelita Lewis, Augustina Encarnacion and family, Connie Jarvis and family, Althea Clarke and family, Olliemae Simona, Kretika Hamiliton and family; cousins and other relatives: Keith and Dawn Colburne, Teddy, Vanessa and the Bridges family, Christophine Henry and family and the Mussington family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Tributes will begin at 9 a.m. with funeral service at 10 a.m., Friday, April 5, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
