The Virgin Islands Department of Education, St. Croix District Office of the Insular Superintendent has scheduled an early dismissal for junior high schools on Tuesday, Feb. 26, and for elementary schools on Thursday, Feb. 28, to allow teachers to attend professional development workshops.
Schools will be dismissed at 1 p.m. on both days.
Lunch will be served before students are released; buses will be dispatched to transport students to their normal drop-off locations.
Parents are asked to ensure students are properly supervised following the dismissals.
