A high pressure ridge continues to maintain a strong easterly wind flow across the local area. While some light showers are possible from time to time, a mostly stable weather pattern is expected. An increase in the potential for showers is expected by the middle of next week.
As a result of wind-driven seas, hazardous marine conditions exist again today. Seas will average eight feet across the the Caribbean and Atlantic waters as well as across the waters of the Anegada Passage. Winds are easterly at 15-20 knots (17-23 miles per hour).
There is a high risk of rip currents along all Virgin Islands shorelines through tonight.
