Francis Massicott Dies at 72

Francis Massicott

Francis Massicott, also known as “Franco,” of Morning Star died on Jan. 18. He was 72 years old.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mariette Augustine; father, Vincent Massicott; and brother, Casimer Massicott.

He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Royer Massicott; daughters: Natasha Massicott-Alcala and Yasmeen Massicott; son, Francillius Massicott-Alexander; grandchildren: Natalia Alcala, Anthony Priester, Rackelle, Terhelle and Kendell Massicott; sisters: Stelline John and Mona Massicott; brothers: Michel Massicott, Venant Massicott and Mathew Massicott; and nieces: Theresa John, Velma Massicott, Aldean Massicott, Mikisha Massicott, Michelle Massicott, Angela Williams, Petrolina and Doreen Durand.

He is also survived by nephews: Ben John, Mike Massicott, Tony Durand and Christopher Massicott; great nieces: Chelsey Massicott and Vincea Massicott; great nephew, Deon Massicott; daughter-in-law, Yvette Lisa Alexander Massicott; brother-in-law, Tony Aug and Rickey Hazel; sister-in-law, Rosetta Hazel; special friends and other relatives: Maurise Leblanc, Christopher Charles, Alfred Mat, Oliver, Martin Massicott, Julian Charles, Clayton Ridges, Oraril Green, Paul and John Benjamin and Ignatius George; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The viewing will begin at 9 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
