Beryl Alleyne died on July 18.

She is survived by her children: Joy Charles, Ryan Alleyne, Wayne Alleyne, Eric Alleyne, Derrick Alleyne, Patterson Alleyne and Annelyes Charles: adopted daughters: Janett Crump and Joann Small; adopted sons: Vincent Bergan and Austin Bergan; and grandchildren: Maxine, Malone, Malvin and Marsha Charles, Arlene Alleyne, Owen Alleyne, Patterson Alleyne Jr., Patterson Alleyne III, Sheynyce Alleyne, Camille Alleyne, Camillah Alleyne, Nicole Alleyne-Navario, Derrick Alleyne II, Jordan Alleyne, Nyasha Alleyne, Tiffany Alleyne, Ayanna Alleyne, Nia Alleyne, Xavier Alleyne, Zenya Alleyne, Shenaye Alleyne, Jahlani Alleyne, Nicolle Alleyne, Wayne Alleyne Jr., Aubrey Alleyne, Shane Alleyne, Joenique Alleyne, Robert Alleyne, Andre Buffong, Vaughn Charles, Alex Hodge, Curtis Alleyne, Shaun Charles, Michael Charles, Lori-Ann Charles, Aleicha Charles and Akilah Alleyne.

She is also survived by great-grandchildren: Akim Jarvis, Dequan Jarvis, Aisha Jones, Zaci Charles, Zion Charles, Shani Murray, Damereon Camacho, Xavier Charles, Mya Charles, Laila Alleyne, Brooklyn Alleyne, Curtis Alleyne Jr., Andre Buffong Jr., Michael Buffong, Adrian Buffong, Annelyes Hodge, Alex Hodge Jr., Amira Hodge, Brianna Navario, Jamal Navario, Zekimah Valentin, Zikomo Valentin, Zekilah Valentin, Jahmali Acevedo, Chammonique Acevedo, Shadina Thompson, Shanirah Thompson, Erika, Jamari and Brianna Navario, Josiah Alleyne, Ayden and Aniyah Jenkins; and nieces and nephews: Pearly Oliver, Eileen Mitchell, Rhona Bolivar, Pearline Warren, Avis Mcintosh, Marva Alleyne, Angel Alleyne, Jenny Palmer, Maurice Alleyne, R. Oscar Alleyne, Vern Alleyne, Kenrick Alleyne, Albin Alleyne, Avery Alleyne, Orel Alleyne, Julien Alleyne and John Alleyne.

Other survivors include daughters-in-law: Debra Alleyne and Marvolyn Alleyne; godchildren: Judi James, Julien James and Beaulah Clarke; special friends: Carmen Ortis and family, Daphne Andrews and family, Mariam Griffith and family, Judith James and family, Christian Isaac and family, Pastor and Mrs. Anthony Devlught, Seville Gordon and family, The Central Church of the Nazarene Family, Mr. and Mrs. Owen, Patricia James, Carmen and Ernest “Palance” Johnson, Lloyd Thomas, Antoinete James-Alleyne, Nina Bergan and family, Trevor Aldridge and family, and Gladys Reuben White; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, at The Central Church of The Nazarene. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
