DPNR Re-Launches ‘Bookmobile in Your Neighborhood’

Virgin Islands Literary Festival and Book Fair

The V.I. Department of Planning and Natural Resources (DPNR) has announced the re-launching of the ‘Bookmobile in Your Neighborhood’ initiative, which is an effort to promote community involvement and to provide outreach library services at different locations that are not in close proximity of a library. The bookmobile will be at the following locations from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. beginning June 5:

St. Croix – – commencing on Tuesday, June 5
1st and 3rd Tuesdays: Sunshine Mall
1st and 3rd Thursdays: Canegata Ballpark
2nd and 4th Tuesdays: Sunny Isles Shopping Center
2nd and 4th Thursdays: Plaza Extra West
St. Thomas – commencing on Tuesday, June 5
1st and 3rd Tuesdays: West Bay Supermarket
1st and 3rd Thursdays: Fort Christian Museum Historic Landmark Site
2nd and 4th Tuesdays: Nisky Moravian Church
2nd and 4th Thursdays: Roy Lester Schneider Medical Center

The services offered will include loaning of books and limited computer services.
