DOE Announces 2018 Territorial Spelling Bee Slated for March 27

The Virgin Islands Department of Education invites the community to the 45th Annual Territorial Spelling Bee on Tuesday, March 27, beginning at 10 a.m. in the Ruth E. Thomas Auditorium, Charlotte Amalie High School.

The territory’s top 12 spellers will compete for the championship title and the opportunity to represent the Virgin Islands at the 91st Scripps National Spelling Bee, May 29–31, in Maryland.

The Virgin Islands Daily News and the United Way of the Virgin Islands are the sponsors of the 2018 Territorial Spelling Bee.
