Stephen Procil died on Feb. 17.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Unita Porcil; father, Phillipe Edwards Jean; brother, Selassie Flood; and sister, Roslyn Jean.
He is survived by his spouse, Margarete Porcil; daughters: Mascillina Ricards (St. Croix) and Veronica Gaines (Fla.); sons: Evans Porcil (Calif.), Franklin Porcil (Calif.) and Kensley Chandler (St. Lucia); brothers: Marfren Jean, Grames Jean, Kenny Jean, Russell Jean, Egbert Jean and Ferguson Jean; sisters: Pandora Flood, Elizabeth Edwin, Royslir Artkins, Malitda Jean, Maria Walcott, Cythia Jean and Pamela Monroe; nieces: Alyn Jean, Kay Jean, Jarsley Barry, Nela Flood and Tita Flood; nephews: Barbie Flood and Barbo Flood; cousins: Francis Purcille and the Francis family; special friends: Patrick Edwards, George St. Rose, Patrick Thomas and Ignacious George; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The family requests that attendees wear festive colors.
A viewing will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, at Divine Funeral Service Chapel. A second viewing will be held at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Frederiksted. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
