Vietnam veteran Antonio Nieves Castro, also known as “Toñito,” died on Sunday Jan. 22, in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Antonio was born in San Juan, P.R., on July 29, 1949. He lived for years on St. Croix. He was 67 years old.
He is survived by his daughters: Debora Nieves-George, Ingrid Nieves and Ashley Nieves; sons: Antonio Nieves Jr., Marcos Nieves, Wilfredo Nieves, Ismael Nieves, Ezequiel Nieves and Jose Nieves; and by other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will take place at noon on Tuesday, Jan 31, at the National Cemetery of Veterans in Bayamon, P.R.
