Virgin Islands Democrats are reminded that Tuesday, May 3, is the deadline to file Statements of Candidacy and Pledge of Support forms for Democrats who are seeking to be at-large delegates or alternates to the 2016 Democratic National Convention.
Forms must be completed and forwarded to either Lauretta Petersen, chair of membership, at lapetersenster@gmail.com or Carol M. Burke, NCW/caucus coordinator, at cb_manjack@yahoo.com by the deadline for verification and processing.
Any Democrat, 18 years of age or older, may participate by attending the caucus and showing proof of his or her Virgin Islands voters registration card declaring that their party preference is Democrat. Contact the Election System of the Virgin Islands for voter registration information.
