Mr. Rexbell Adams died April 8 in New York. He was 75 years old at his passing.
Rex, as he was known by many, was preceded in death by his mother, Albertha V. Thomas, and father, Ejner Adams.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; brothers; Austin Adams Sr. and Ejner Adams; sisters and brothers: Ada (Adams) Hodge, Cecilia, Anna, Roy, Thomas and Marva; daughters; Gloria Adams, and Lisa (Adams)Howard and husband, Stacy Howard; sons: Ulysses Adams and Derrick Adams; grandkids: Joshua and Omar Rodriguez, Lodora Washington, Hezekiah Liburd, LeAnna Miller and Deniesha Gray; great-grandchild, Aniya Washington; nephews: Austin Adams Jr., Marc Adams, Jonathan Adams, Alexis Adams Sr., Shawn Adams and Eric Adams; nieces: Zonna (Adams) Lawson, Vivian (Adams) Hodges and Adrian Adams; as well as many other hosts of younger cousins, nieces and nephews.
Rex was born and raised on St. Croix. He was also retired from the Army.
He will be very missed.
