James Theophilus Weatherill Dies at 79

James Theophilus Weatherill James Theophilus Weatherill, also known as "T Bird," of Estate Peters Rest died on Sunday, Oct. 25, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Medical Center. He was 79 years old.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Henrietta Weatherill; father, Raymond Weatherill; and brother-in-law, Charles Joseph.
He is survived by his spouse, Marcia M. Weatherill; daughter, Sandra Joseph Weatherill; sons: Cesar A. Tapia and Pedro Mariñez; stepdaughter, Earlin Gordon; grandchildren: Michelle Irish and Alexis Irish; sisters: Mavis Charles, Evelyn Joseph, Edris McFarlande, Sarahpover Thomas, Jenitha Kelley (St. Croix), Blondelle Weatherill (St. Thomas) and Mignonette Coates (St. Croix); brothers: Selwyn Weatherill and Henderson "Secky" Weatherill; and nieces: Patricia and Pricilla McFalande, Brenda Richardson, Sharon, Ann, Judie Charles and Cerene Jordon, Kathleen Joseph, Cordella Victor, Joann Galloway, Nickesha Joseph, Shenique Coates and Judy Weatherill.
He is also survived by nephews: Kenneth, Leroy Charles and Bernard Small, Moses and Frederick St. George, Phillip McFarlande, Henderson, Melrose and Isiah Joseph, Kelroy Lewis, Delroy Tonge, Tyrone Johnson, David Willock, Kevin Matthew, Vivian Ramsey, Sean Brown, Bruce Barnes and Donald Warden, as well as other nieces and nephews too numerous to mention; brothers-in-law: Jhonny Charles, Bernard Thomas, Clement Kelley, Leonard McFarlande and Noel Coates; and sisters-in-law: Joan Weatherill and Yvonne Weatherill.
Other survivors include special friends: Marlene Phillip, Rupert Lake, Edwin Rodney, Hubert Frederick and Paulette McMahon; friends: Henley Marlane, Kimmie Simon, Michelle Sebastian Simon, Norvert Auguste, Repurte Lake, Edith Cornibert and Lindeta Hazell; and cousins and other relatives: Norma Errol, Dalman Hector, the Dublin family, the Henry family and Stedman Robertson.
Special thanks to the Gov. Juan Luis Hospital staff, La Paz Hospice Care Inc. staff, the Cardiovascular staff, Mr. and Ms. Fredrick, and Mary Hodge and Recardo Williams; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
