Innovative crews were working Sunday afternoon to restore cable systems on St. Croix that were affected by Saturday’s islandwide power outage.
Innovative’s public relation’s manager, Willa Fils, said in a Sunday news release that the company’s engineering and technical staff is working to restore modems offline in Christiansted, Frederiksted and Mon Bijou.
"Customers being affected by this outage are experiencing loss of service on multiple Innovative services. Innovative’s crews will work diligently until all services are restored," Fils said.
Innovative customers can report cable or phone service problems online by visiting http://www.innovative.vi. Customers should click on “Services” then “Contact Us” and submit a help ticket.
Innovative customers calling from landlines can dial 912. The hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday through Friday and on from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
Customers utilizing wireless phones can reach the Service Center at 1-340-778-1742. For assistance with high-speed data/Internet service, customers should can 1-340-779-9999 and press 4 or call 1-340-714-3700 directly for technical support assistance.
