Doris Yvette Dowling Dies in Georgia

Doris Yvette Dowling Doris Yvette Dowling of Atlanta, Georgia, died on March 27. She was 53 years old.
She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Dowling.
She is survived by her mother, Naomi A. Dowling; son, Dale King Jr.; sisters: Jennifer P. Harrison, Enid P. Lettsome, Lorraine L. Dowling, Laverne M. Dowling and Decelle D. Dowling; brothers: Mario A. Perkins, James B. Dowling, Lauriel H. Dowling Sr. and Darwin D. Dowling; nieces: Tamara Allen, Kaisha Ortiz, Vanessa Dowling, Deanne Dowling, Darisse Dowling, Daynia Dowling, Kayla Ritter, Anushica Raymo, Marisha Perkins and Jessica Melendez-Williams; nephews: Lauriel H. Dowling Jr., Deray Ritter, Darian Dowling, Leon Perkins and Calvin Perkins III; and aunts: Sylvia McIntosh, Axelina Sands and Amparo Gerard.
She is also survived by uncles: Victor McBean and Anselmo Gumbs; brothers-in-law: Charles Harrison and Arnold Lettsome; sisters-in-law: Ruth Perkins and Verna Dowling; special friends: Sandra Harrison, Michelle Gibbs, Vincent Price (Atlanta), Central High Class of 1979, Grady Memorial Hospital (Atlanta) and Harbor Grace Hospice Care (Atlanta); cousins and other relatives: Ezra Seales, Audrey Jackson, Kim Hunt, Sherry Thomas, Neal, Nevin and Clyde Davis, Janice and Kent Moorehead Sr., Sandra Phaire, Frandelle, Phyllis and Claude Gerard, Carrel McBean; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing at 9 a.m. will be followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, at St. Paul’s Anglican Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
