Sports, Parks and Recreation Postpones Basketball Tournament

The Annual Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament, which had been scheduled to be held from Nov. 21 through Nov. 24, at the St. Croix Central High School Ronald Charles Gymnasium has been postponed, according to a press release issued Wednesday by the Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation.
Commissioner St. Claire N. Williams noted that the department is still accepting team rosters which may be submitted to Carita Stevens, youth development coordinator, or Ray Iles, recreation coordinator, by calling 773-0160.
“We deeply regret any inconvenience, and look forward to conducting the basketball tournament at a later date,” Williams said.
