Police have identified the body of a young man found Monday morning in a remote area of East Scenic Road as 16-year-old Emory Christopher of Estate Mount Pleasant.
Christopher’s body was found in a grassy area. Police said he was on his back, fully dressed in a black shirt, blue jeans, white ankle socks and black sneakers. His hair was worn in twists.
At the time of the discovery, police said they were not considering the case a homicide.
Police have not released the cause of death, saying the determination will be made by the medical examiner.
