Elmo Plaskett West Little League Elects New Board of Directors Oct. 14

The Elmo Plaskett West Little League will hold its annual meeting at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, at the American Legion Hall Building – Post 133 located at No.15-16 Prince Street, Frederiksted. The purpose of the meeting is to hold elections for the board of directors for the upcoming 2013 little league baseball season.
The positions open are president, vice president, vice president (senior league), secretary, treasurer, player agent and safety officer. All persons interested in running for a position must complete a volunteer form and submit an official nomination notice to the election officer via e-mail or telephone before Friday, Oct. 5.
The election poll will be open from 4-6 p.m. Absentee ballots will be available for pickup from Sunday, Oct. 7, at Armstrong’s Ice Cream & Deli during regular business hours. The completed ballot and volunteer registration form must be received by noon on election day to be considered valid.
Eligible voters include past/present board members of the league, current managers, coaches, umpires, team parents and volunteers. Voters must also reside in the Frederiksted district and are required to fill out a Volunteer Registration form prior to voting.
