Edward Royer Dies at 69

Edward Royer Edward Royer of Upper Richmond died on Sept. 21, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital.
He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Royer.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Royer; mother, Gladys Royer; daughters: Sharon Dupigny and Merle Royer; son, Eustace John Royer; 12 grandchildren to include: Chelsea Dupigny, Shelly-Michelle Royer, Vickie Royer and John Lloyd; godchildren: Luis Benitez and Estell Johnson; daughter-in-law, Gracie Royer; sisters: Claron (Ronnie) Royer, Felicin (Ruth) Royer, Olive Bedminster, Agatha Joseph and Edith Bedneau; brother, Mark Thomas; brothers-in-law: Errol Bedminister, Francis Bedneau, George, Ian and Andrew Williams, and Thomas Corriette; sisters-in-law: Sharon Hetty, Agatha Magloire, Charlotte Joseph, Helen and Alces Williams, Rose Thomas and Carol Honore; and mother-in-law, Louise George.
He is also survived by nieces: Grace Benitez, Donna Williams, Rhonda Joseph, Rhonda Willie, Dionne Joseph, Mahoyan Doctroue, Jecintha Thomas, Tammy and Kathy Bedneau, Shawna Thomas and Vanya Letang; nephews: Eric, Henson and Alec Williams, Mark and Shawn Thomas, Clint Royer, Gerald Bedminister and Luis "Chen Chen" Benitez; aunt, Catherine Burton; uncle, Hugh Royer; special friends: Harris Benjamin, Maurice Leblanc, Magdalene Royer, Petrolina Bedneau, Olivia Ettienne, Mark, Patrick and Enrique (Ching Ching) Benitez; cousins and other relatives: Justin Royer, Virginia Royer, Lawrence Patrick, Mark and Cyrill Bruman, Marilyn and Luke Frederick, Angelia Sylvaine, Patsy Brumant, Cyrill and Cecil Romain, and Wowo Toussaint; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery
