Elvira Ventour Dies at 70

Elvira Ventour age 70 of Clifton Hill died on May 14, at Gov. Juan Luis Hospital. She was 70 years old.
She is survived by her son, Vencil Ventour; stepdaughter, Marilyn Taylor; sister-in-law, Paula Williams; daughter-in-law, Michelle Ventour; grandchildren: Shakima Ventour, Takeisa Jayra Martinez, Lannet Ventour and Tonnisha Ventour; cousins: Sara Scottliffe and Adina Webbe; godchildren: Celine Bradshaw and Samuel Bradshaw; nieces: Laurencea Richardson, Sheila Richardson-Williams, Karyl, Verona, Editha Williams, Monica and Ionie Ferlance, and Maureen Whittaker; and nephews: Milton, Charles and Lincoln Whittaker, Elridge, Wellington and Willmot Richardson, Adrian and Mclain Ferlance, Joseph Williams and Corneil Wingrove.
She is also survived by great and great-great nieces and nephews: Marilyn, Addison, James, David, Alphonso, Rodolf, Richardson and Kenisha Hendrickson, Patrick and David Pryce, and Jovon Gonzague; special friends: Olivia Frances (St. Kitts), Coraline Felix (St. Kitts), Charles and Margret Gilbert, Amelia Herrera, Gladys Bradshaw-Martinez, Miriam Romero, Shelia, Rita Berry, Elaine Douglas, the Ebenezer Methodist Gospel Voices and the Ebenezer Methodist Choir; a special thank you to the JFL staff, Vitran Transportation, Christian Pharmacy and others too numerous to mention.
A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 27 at Ebenezer Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
