Caregivers Project Seeks Volunteers to Help Aged and Disabled

The Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Project seeks men and women who want to help the elderly and disabled by running errands, giving respite to caregivers, making a friendly visitation, calling to say hello, reading their favorite book, taking them to appointments, assisting in letter writing, helping with forms — or whatever they can do to help for just an hour or two a week.
Free training will help anyone to become a volunteer. The training will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 14. A continental breakfast will be served.
To register, call Elisa McKay at 778-6263.
