Since the new year began, three St. Croix men have been arrested and charged with domestic violence.
The three suspects are Tomas Huertas, Harold Willocks Jr. and Avery A. Hodge.
Huertas, 35, of Estate Mt. Pleasant West, was arrested at about 1:30 p.m. Saturday and charged with destruction to property/domestic violence.
Police said that during an argument Huertas destroyed items inside the home and threw some items outside the home.
Willocks Jr., 22, of Estate Work and Rest, was arrested at about 10:35 a.m. Tuesday and charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and domestic violence.
Police said Willocks caused injuries to his ex-girlfriend after she attempted to get out of his vehicle and Willocks accelerated, causing her leg and foot to drag on the ground. The victim was treated at Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center.
Hodge, 26, of Hospital Street in Frederiksted was arrested Wednesday and charged with aggravated assault and battery/domestic violence.
Police said Hodge hit his girlfriend in her face causing visible injuries. Hodge also damaged the victim’s vehicle, according to police.
