March 26, 2009 – Mildred Maria Joseph, also known as "Mother," of Estate Whim died on March 22, at her residence. She was 77 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Sarah Hazelwood, Bernadette Stevens, Persephone Griffith, Sharmaine Williams Stapleton and Gladys Lopez; grandchildren: Miguel, Priscilla, Curtis, Michael, Tanisha, Taisha, Tarisha, Joel, John Jr. and Nigel; great-grandchildren: Dorrell, Kadesha, Shomari, Kyle, Dion, Ta'sian, K'saiah, Santano, Azaria and Kyla; sons-in-law: Theo Hazelwood, Alton Stevens and John B. Griffith Sr.; niece, Lauretta Heskey; nephews: Lincoln, Tyrone, Alburn, Cordell and Eldeen; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m., on Thursday, April 2, at the Faith Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
