Remove the Stigma of Going for Help

Dear Source:
We need to remove any stigma that associates itself with going for help. It was imposed in the article by Dr. Iris Kern.
I do not believe that is the case, people associate terms, they do not associate themselves. How we are trained to associate this one ought be a focus of inquiry. In my unscientific experiences, I am not a researcher, the term appears very often from professional sources, who are then cited as authorities for employing it. I address many every day in surfing the net for the association of this term.
Why would one not cite an "authority?" That is what we do, we look to authority for information that we can consider reliable and we repeat it.
I personally object when it appears, knowing the effect it is intended to have upon individuals, and that on many it does have that effect. Can you image this article had you not imposed the term?
Here is that paragraph:
We need mental health resources that function. We need a private as well as governmental commitment to provision of such services. We need to recruit more professional people, be willing to pay them a salary reflective of their education and value, and deal with this issue head on.
