Here is a list of summer camps and organized activities available for children or young people. Please send information on your camps and activities, to offer parents a variety of choices.
"Gimme the Rock" Basketball Camp
The Virgin Islands Basketball Federation presents "Gimme the Rock" Basketball Camp. The camp will be organized by Community In Unity Inc. and is sponsored by the Law Enforcement Planning Commission (LEPC). It will run from June 25-29, at the Tim Arena, St. Croix Educational Complex.
The free camp, which also includes lunch, is open to the first 100 girls and boys between the ages of 12-17 who sign up.
In addition to clinics for the improvement of basketball skills, presentations will be made on life skills. Registration forms can be obtained from the office of Sen. Usie Richards, the Election System Offices or the Legal Services Office on St. Croix.
Parents are responsible for dropping off and picking up all camp participants. For more information, call 712-2281 or 693-3569.
