March 15, 2007 – The Virgin Islands Tennis Association announced the selection process for the 2007 Davis Cup Team, Pan American Games and World University Games team coaches. The Davis Cup Americas Zone Group IV will be played the week of June 18 in Guatemala; the Pan American Games will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, July 13-22; and the World University Games in Bangkok, Thailand, will be held on Aug. 8-18.
All tennis coaches interested in being selected for any of these international events must submit a VITA Coach Information Form, according to a press release from VITA. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m., Monday, April 2.
