Humane Society of St. Thomas to Sponsor Easter Parade
The Humane Society of St. Thomas will sponsor an Easter Bonnet Parade on Easter Sunday, April 8. It will be held this year at a new location: the Oceana Restaurant and Wine Bar. There will be a brunch from noon to 2 p.m., at Oceana, with entertainment by Freddie Rabuse. The parade will begin at 2:30 p.m. Registration for those who wish to compete will be open from noon to 1 p.m.
Prizes will be given for the categories of originality, humor and glamour and include special prizes for children 12 and younger.
Reservations for the three-course brunch at Oceana cost $55 plus a 20 percent gratuity per person and can be made by calling 774-4262.
