V.I. Cardiac Center Groundbreaking Ceremony on Thursday

May 26, 2006 – A groundbreaking ceremony for the Virgin Islands Cardiac Center at Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the north parking lot of the hospital.
"The groundbreaking ceremony is a community event," said Hospital CEO Gregory J. Calliste. "I am extremely proud of the project and the community for supporting the building of the cardiac center."
The Cardiac Center will offer additional cardiac services, with two fully-equipped cath labs, nuclear medicine, cardiac surgery, cardiac education and 12,000 square feet for future expansion.
