Youth Conservation Corp at V.I. National Park

May 26, 2006 – The V.I. National Park will employ six to eight youths this summer in its Youth Conservation Corp program.
Youths employed in the eight-week program, to begin June 28, will be involved in a variety of duties associated with park operations.
Park Superintendent Art Frederick said, "This is an extremely important program to the St. John community and the park is excited about having the opportunity to provide our teenagers with a work experience that will enhance their understanding and appreciation for the environment."
Applicants must be 15 to 18 years old and be U.S. citizens or have permanent residency status. Applications are available at the National Park Visitor Center in Cruz Bay between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
