The Water Island Civic Association held its 2000 Annual Meeting on Jan. 22.
The membership elected an Executive Committee to handle their affairs for the next year.
Chuck Gidley is President, Mark Pippen is Vice-President, Arlene Dooley is the Secretary, Sandy Castorena-Knopf is Treasurer, and Members-at-:Large are: Heidi Mann, Alex Randall, Thomas McCoy, Joanne Bohr, and Kevin Maddock.
Chuck Gidley said that "the association is made up of residents of Water Island, both homeowners and renters." The association endeavors to represent Water Island in discussions with the Virgin Island Government for providing services due residents as property tax and income tax payers.
