DAILY NEW UNIONIZATION VOTE POSTPONED

The vote on whether to unionize the Virgin Islands Daily News was postponed because of Hurricane Lenny, according to a representative of the Steelworkers Union in the St. Thomas office.
The vote had been set for Nov. 18 and 19. A labor representative from Puerto Rico was to fly to the territory to oversee the election.
No new date had been set as of Monday.
