The Nomination Petitions and Papers will be available for pick up at the St. Croix and St. Thomas offices. Because the offices remain closed to public entry, persons must contact the offices before arrival.
The plan to have board members handle voter registration duties has been suspended. Supervisor Fawkes apologizes for any inconvenience and will update the public of the reopening of voter registration.
Effective April 24, due to the state of emergency because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Elections System is encouraging and authorizing aspirants to circulate their Nomination Petitions and Papers electronically.
Nomination Petitions and Papers for the 2020 Elections will be available for pick up at the St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John Elections Offices between 9 a.m. and noon on Friday, April 24.
Applicants must complete and submit the statement of candidacy form by 5 p.m., Sunday, May 17. The caucus will be held on Saturday, June 6.
Although the offices will be closed for voter registration, applications for the Department of Human Services’ Elder, Dependent Adult and Disabled Person Registry will be available for pick up at the Elections System Offices in both districts.
