Power outages continued for a second day on St. Thomas, St. John and Hassel Island, in the wake of heavy thunderstorms Tuesday.
Line department crews remain fanned out across St. Croix addressing numerous isolated electrical service interruptions, according to the Water and Power Authority. Areas reporting service interruptions include: Enfield Green, Northside/Mount Washington, St. John, Bellevue/Little Princess Hill, Prospect Hill, Constitution Hill, Becks Grove, Two Friends/Hard Labor, Jolly Hill, La Grande Princesse, Wheel of Fortune, Annaly, Mount Victory, Oxford, Turner Hole and Mount Pellier.
There are also electrical service interruptions reported on Hassel Island and on St. John. St. Thomas had numerous outages Tuesday but WAPA is not reporting any outages there as of Wednesday morning.
