Christopher Love, 69, was arrested Sunday and charged with driving under the influence after a one-vehicle traffic accident in which a man was killed.
At 7:50 p.m. Sunday, the 911 call center received a report of an auto accident on Northshore Road in the vicinity of Gentle Wind. Police identified Love as the driver. According to police, Love was driving from north to south when he lost control of his vehicle and turned over, going over an embankment.
The passenger, 68-year-old Robert Jones, was ejected from the vehicle and died on the scene, police said.
