DPNR-DLAM to Display ‘I Am David Hamilton Jackson’ Student Art Show at Fort Frederik

The V.I. Department of Planning and Natural Resources Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums (DPNR-DLAM) will host the “I Am David Hamilton Jackson” art exhibit at Fort Frederik Museum from 4-5:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26.

The exhibit will feature social justice collages of students from various schools’ art programs. The student art show is open to the public and free of charge.

“The Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums looks forward to showcasing the brilliant talent of our young people in Fort Frederik for this fun-filled family event in Frederiksted,” said Director Amy DeSorbo.

After the art exhibit, the community is also encouraged to participate in the Holidays in the Nighttime Skies’ Toy Collection Drive that will take place in the fort from 5-8 p.m., Saturday evening.
