Fitzroy Johnson, also known as “Fitz,” of Estate Paradise died on March 28. He was 60 years old.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Roy and Eve Johnson; sister, Patricia Johnson; and brothers: Busta Johnson and Anthony Johnson.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Johnson; daughters: Rachanna Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson; sons: Leeroy Johnson, Gilbert Johnson, Ricky Johnson, Marvin Johnson Fitzroy Johnson and Barrymore Ward (stepson); grandchildren: Edwin Ventura Jr., Elijah Ventura, Eaiden Ventura, Djahnie Johnson, Jalead Johnson, Nicolai, Eva Ventura and Deshea Johnson; and sisters: Rosette Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Ann Feddon, Aurel Young, Ave Johnson, Susan Rodney, Vasie Freeman and Panda Young.
He is also survived by brothers: Elijah Young, Vin Samuel, Bernard Johnson, Venold Johnson, George Johnson, Basta Johnson, Carlos Johnson and Bilidorn Haywood; son-in-law, Edwin Ventura; special friends: Justin Bannis, Victor Hendriks, Maria Lopes, Julia Young, Charles Lenau, Paul Dexter, Lesroy Simon, Milton Burt, Paul Benjamin and Ena Benjamin; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m., Monday, April 8, at Sunny Isle Baptist Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
