Partly cloudy conditions with some scattered showers are forecast today across the region. Daytime highs will average in the middle 80s. The mid and upper-level ridges will continue to move east of the local area increasing the potential for rainfall activity through Friday.
Mariners can expect rough seas to seven feet across the offshore waters and passages, and six foot seas in most of the coastal waters. Easterly winds to 20 knots (23 miles per hour) are expected.
There is a high risk of rip currents for the northwestern beaches of St. Thomas and St. John today.
