The AT&T U.S. Virgin Islands retail team and Women of AT&T Employee Resource Group have donated money and much-needed items to the Women’s Coalition in St. Croix. The nonprofit offers a counseling program and shelter for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.
The donation included: $200 check, 25 personal hygiene kits, 25 packs of hand sanitizer, AT&T backpacks and wet wipes.
“We are thrilled to be able to help organizations like the Family Resource Center which are making a difference,” said Catherine Kling, AT&T area retail sales manager. “We share in the Center’s commitment to strengthening communities and improving lives.”
The Women’s Coalition of St. Croix provides advocacy, programs and services to end all forms of violence and oppression. The nonprofit operates a crisis center, an emergency shelter for battered women and their children, a transitional housing program for survivors and their children, a children’s center for education programs, and a community-supported thrift store.
